Wrong attitude.......... The standard is high and should be. If one cannot make the cut then lowering the requirement so everybody with what ever battery, paint job, tires, and what ever can get a 97 plus score is just not what the mark of excellence award is about. And neither is top flight, but it does allow for up to 6% wrong with ones car. Not everyone can be first at the finish line. There is no shame in second flight. NCRS members need to be putting the big boy pants on and stop crying they can't get the required score for an award. Take the points deductions as warranted and stop complaining.
