identifying NOS bumpers on 65

I had a "misshaped" rear bumper on my 65 when i bought it a few years ago. I found a pair of rear bumpers at a corvette swap meet, and its time to visit the rechromer shop.
My question is this, How do I identify if these bumpers are original bumpers and not repops ? I see no numbers or identifiers on them, although the rust may be hiding them ?

There will not be any numbers, Depends upon what you want to do with your car.
Top Flight, show car, original, etc.

Thickness helps, they got thinner 1968 and thinner yet each decade that passed. There are a couple other tricks to spot a repro and or China part and some of that was posted here a month or so back.
