i am rebuilding the top of my heater box on my 1965 327/350 coupe and broke the temp.valve lever that is attached to the cable that controls the heater shut off vacuum switch. i have checked the usual parts books,paragon keen etc. they do no sell it.need help! thank george c

First off welcome to NCRS.
Did you try Long Island Corvette- they might have the part or know how to get it for you. Otherwise, can you post a pic of the part? - I had to scavenge some heater box parts to repair my 68. the part you need may be on one of the donor boxes I used. If so, i'd send it to you no cost if I have what you need.

i will send a pic later tonite.the box in need needs to be an a/c heater box.there is a difference. my broken part controls the vacuum switch assembly pushed one way and the the other side of my broken piece swings the door open or shut inside the heater box. will send photo later..it is called a temp.valve lever.in the assembly book from chevy the page in the upc is under c60 a/c switches and cables and vacuum hoses.. thank you so much. will type later george- Top
