Painted Characters on Engine Pad

On my original owner 96 there were white painted characters on the pad in addition to the VIN derivative (which interestingly was "x-ed" out and restamped). Although the paint is gone you can still see their outline which appear to read 6A1541 _ _ . Anyone have any idea what these mean?

Meanwhile, I may have found evidence of similar markings. In the attached video of the building of the last C4, at the 4:54 mark, they show the newly-stamped engine pad with black, ink-like numbers next to the stamping. The size and the font of the numbers looks very similar to mine, although mine are in a lower location.

I thought I recalled the numbers being white, but I could've been mistaken on that. Still don't know what they might mean, but it sure looks similar to what my pad shows.
