    Frame Pull Date

What does the frame pull date mean or how do I know what date should be on it?
Also what color do I paint for the frame pull date? Thanks

    Re: Frame Pull Date

The pull date is when the frame was pulled out of inventory for the car to be built. It's written upside down in yellow lumber crayon. Here's the original one on my 65. Pull date 4/8/65 and the cars build date was 4/12/65.

That's great Jim!.....Do you know counting from the front of the car how many rocker panel cover brackets does that fall under?

Is the build date and the NCRS shipping document date usually the same?

        Mike,

If you take a look at my article on '66 frame dates in the Restorer from a few months ago, you'll see that there is no precise correlation between the frame date and the shipping document date.
