    7017320 fuel inj unit

How early in 1960 corvette production were smooth surface 7017320 fuel injection used?

I have a picture at Sebring with Dr. Dick out of the car with engine problems - car shows a top tank WITHOUT "reinforcing ridges" and a smooth-topped 320 unit. This
car's VIn would have been #3535.

Lynn, Can't really answer your question as it's one I have wondered about also over the years. A few years ago this was discussed here.
First 60's used two left over FI units from '59. 7017250 (great unit) and a 7017300 (nothing to brag about). Then came the 7017320 unit.
The 7017250 (finned plenum) and the 7017320 (smooth top plenum) are virtually the same except for the plenums. Or so some thing. Actually there are other difference but not saying here as enough counterfeit '7250's on the market now. John
