    74 aim missing pages

I am trying to put my steering back together, when I went in search of my AIM I was directed to Chapter 9; The only section in my AIM is 9E. Section 9A through 9D is missing; however the page numbers are still in order. Now I am lost as to how some of my components go back together, the torque specs, and there was also a warning with a specific way of setting up some components which I will have no idea how to do it or what it was actually related to.

Did I get a bad AIM, are other year AIM's missing sections? If it is only a problem with the 74 AIM, would the components and information for a 73 be the same?

If that is true, is anyone willing to share this information with me?

    Thanks

    Todd

Your question depends on what part of the steering you are looking for. The relay rod, tie rods and idler arm arrived in St Louis as an assembly already gauged for width. Since it was assembled elsewhere, there will be nothing in the AIM about the details of this assembly. The only AIM information will be how to install the entire assembly and how to position the tie rod clamps after the toe is set.
