wiring plug on 67 BB fire wall W/AC (which hole)? need help here

I have been stuck here on my 67 BB restoration.

I have to put the new rubber plug in the fire wall and don't know which hole the oil tube, A/C harness, main harness, and ignition wires go.

I took a pic of both sides of the new plug and know I have to complete the holes as to what go's where.

My oil tube should take one of the small holes and it looks kike the wrapped main harness would be the largest hole. Then I have the wrapped A/C harness and finally the loose ignition wires & back up wires.

Looked in the book and hit a dead end and since the dash and cluster are still out this would be the time as I shoild have done it all before I put the body on the frame with the engine & trans installed.

I can make a educated guess BUT want it right.

    Dom -

See your A.I.M., section C-60, sheet E5, View "C" - it shows that grommet and what goes in each hole. One small hole is for the oil pressure line, the other small hole is for the A/C vacuum hose that goes to the water shutoff valve, the medium hole is for the A/C vacuum source hose to the intake manifold fitting, and the large hole is for the A/C harness and for the ignition and wiper motor wiring.

Well you made me go look at my car...

Not to be contrary to the A.I.M., but my '67 is slightly different (even though it's unrestored, it doesn't guarantee the items through the grommet haven't been messed with in it's life).

From the engine compartment side looking towards the dash (the easiest way to quickly view it), I have the following (times are approximate):

At the 3 O'clock postion there is the oil pressure line, as indicated in the A.I.M., but also the small vacuum line to the heater valve.

At the 5-6 O'clock position is the large vacuum line to the intake.

The 7-8 O'clock position has the A/C harness.

The 12 O'clock postion has the remaining wiring.

Just thought it was worth mentioning. Charlie

          Charles,
I like yours better than the AIM which does not directly specify the A/C harnes. It makes it look as if it is part of the engine wiring (23)not seperate.
If I read it right the engine harnes is (23) and the A/C line is also (23)? I'm trying yo figure out the dash warn wire that shares a hole.
I'm not at my shop but will be shortly to look at the AIM again.
My choice is to do it as yours is done to keep the A/C harness and engine harness in seperate holes.

            Charles,
Changed my mind as I went page by page in the AIM and found the hoses as in the first page John pointed out. Also on the page with the oil line it showed it in it's own hole as well as the vacume hoses in their seperate holes, then 2 harnesses in the large hole.

That's not saying yours is wrong as I can see logic in seperating 2 harnesses as I think is the correct way to do it.
