    1966 Coupe Tire Replacement Options

My 1966 coupe currently has older tires in need of replacement. I drive my car frequently and I will be taking my car for flight judging where I will be driving 500 + miles. I would like to maximize my points but at the same time want safe driving however reviewing my TIM and JG is confusing. I have narrowed my options to the following choices and would appreciate feedback on points and drivability.
    1. OEM brand and size bias ply tires with 5/8" whitewall
    2. OEM brand service replacement radial tires 215/70/R15 with 5/8" whitewall (e.g. Diamond Back Tires)
    3. OEM brand replacement radial tires with non-original size and whitewall
    Thank you

You need to look at the Judging Reference Manual (JRM) to maximize your points, which would be choice #1 and you would lose THREE points for the tires on the ground
