Did the C 4 cars ever have a AIM like the older cars have?

Re: manual C 4
My understanding is that there was an AIM for each C4 model year. However, it's also my understanding that the manuals are VOLUMINOUS compared to C3 and earlier manuals and, as of now, they have not been released by GM for reproduction.
C4's are the most complicated and content-rich Corvettes ever built so it's quite understandable that the manuals would be commensurately large and complex. Just compare a C-1 to C-3 Chevrolet or Corvette Factory Service Manual to a C-4 manual. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: manual C 4
Yes there is,but they are not called AIMs. Product something or another. There were some in paper form in the NCRS Archives when the NCRS Archives were stored here. It might be worth looking at the AACA Library site to see if they have them for you to look at. They are large enough in both format and thickness that reproducing them is not reasonable.
Edit add: The C4 AIMs are called Product Description Manuals. I will never learn not to post so late at night. Thanks to an anonymous member for the memory jog.Terry- Top

Re: manual C 4
Yeah, the 1996 service manual is huge compared to the earlier ones. There are two, several inches thick volumes, printed on some of the thinnest paper you'll ever see. I shudder to think of the size of C4 AIMs, or PDMs.- Top
