While driving and sitting at a traffic light I see a car carrier. All new C7s. But they were all covered. with full car covers. You could not tell what they were unless you were a Corvette guy. It was just like they did back in the 1960s when the big 3 put out there new models and kept their cars under wrap so no one could see. I tried to catch the truck for a picture but it was to far gone. I headed to the nearest Chevrolet dealer but it was not their delivery. The sales men told me they few they had were sold immediatly. Im betting they went for full sticker. I dont even remember the C6 being so hyped up. Last Corvette with this much hype had to be the 68.

That's true, and for those of us who choked on the outrageous prices on those C4 ZR-1s, now we are getting the last laugh.Big Tanks In the High Mountains of New Mexico- Top

I got stopped by a cop the same weekend, he just wanted to see the car up close. Good times!

Yeah but you were "King of the Hill" first...That's worth something. I bought a Gold 84 on Memorial Day Weekend of 1983 I think they were released in April of 1983 so they were out about a month.
