Does anyone know were I can get my 1961 frame dipped in the Cincinnati Ohio or Lexington KY area. Thanks

A quick Google search turned up American Metal Cleaning of Cincinnati. I have no idea if they are any good or not. Perhaps you call them and get a reference or two.

It's a considerable distance from you, but suggest you consider Metal Rehab Technologies in Ft. Worth, TX. Metal Rehab uses a non-corrosive, environmentally friendly chemical immersion process to clean the metal on your frame and any other smaller parts you want to include.

They will be conducting a tech session at the Lone Star (Texas) Regional in 2 weeks. I've had a 66 and recently my 54 dipped by them. In addition to cleaning, they sprayed the 54 inside (to the point of saturation) and out with PPG's DP90LF epoxy primer for protection (optional). Attached is a brochure....

Dave I have had a few done at Redi Kleen & stripping (formerly Redi strip ) in Evansville Ind. 812-424-9866 . They did a great job . There is also a redi strip in Indianapolis ,317-545-2088. they are about the same price . I have had frames sand blasted and have had them dipped I like dipping and painting the best .I do not like powder coating .
