Reman AC DELCO alt has broadcast code 1100208 78A. Date 4E16. What is the correct application. The box it came in reads ACD 334-2153. GM#19135711. GR.2.275.

At the moment, I can't tell you what the original application was for the 1100208 alternator. However, the Delco 334-2153, aka GM #19135711, is a remanufactured 12 SI series alternator of 66 amps output. It has many applications but Corvette is not one of them. Mostly, it's used for truck applications.

Thanks Joe I know it has been a while. The alternator thing has been driving me crazy. I finally sold this alternator back to the guy who sold it to me. Believe it or not he bough it from Corvette America. I contacted them and they said it should fit a 1976 Corvette. But anyways I am trying to find a correct 70 amp alternator for judging purposes. But after looking at one of your replies on the discussion board to another member about the correct 70 amp alt is hard to come by. You are a wealth of knowledge! I have emailed John Pirkle but have not heard back from him. Thanks again joe.
