59 fuel injection 290 hp radiator seals

I was told that the high performance 290 FI cars needed radiator seals. I purchased them from Paragon and they told me the corner seals and the one inch wide went on the corners and in the center of the radiator. That seemed to work but the side seals approximately 4x12 are in question. They told me they went on the sides of the support and were glued on or sometimes screwed if the holes were there. I am still not convinced this is where they go. Can anyone help. Thanks Pat McPherson 55168

Side seals are for 62HP only and clip on. Look in the Corvette Central catalog.
