    rear shock replacement 56

I just figured out that the upper nuts on my rear shocks are dang near unreachable. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If possible, I would like to not remove the hardtop but that is a possibility.

Also, thanks to you all for the help on the pan gasket replacement.

Hi Dave, You get to the upper shock nuts from the convertible top compartment. Pull back on the small protective liner and you will see small tape that can be removed giving you access to the top nuts. Let me know if you need a picture of this location Dave

I have some luck by taking a box wrench (9/16"?) and getting it on the upper shock nut and then turning the upper shock body by hand to unscrew the nut.
