WCFB carbs Accelerator pumps
Does anyone know the correct Accelerator pump for the 57 WCFB's. A pump from a 2613S or 2614S should fit. Walker Products has various accelerator pumps for sale but I notice that they have several styles that look the same. The diameter and length are what I need info on. Some are 5/8" dia and some are 13/16" diameter and there are several different lengths. Second question, what are the various commentaries concerning the cup material? i.e.-leather, buna, flouroelastomer or??? Comments appreciated. My old pumps were leather and I have been changing jets and the pump cups have become creased and basically destroyed so time for new ones.

I suggest to "match up" an accelerator pump piston to what you have. Have you parts guy order several pistons that look good so you are sure to get the one that matches up and fits. I think you will find that most are a synthetic pink material, (possibly coated). The good thing my WCFB has not been hampered by corn juice. They are pretty good in that regards. The best option is the purchase the entire rebuild kit that will contain the proper accelerator pump piston with out you having to "match up". Also since you have been reassembling numerous times the new gaskets are insurance against leaks.
