Re: Carb Bolt for Tri power ----Identification help
My 68 has the same "m" bolts as shown in the pictures. They were one of the head marks used for the 1968 model year and probably others years as well on tri power cars. As far as value, who knows. Everyone gets so fixated on certain head marks and pay huge amounts to get them that they fail to realize others were often used and they go for nothing.

It would help if you specify the thread size/length and hex side.[/QUOTe
Memory is fading fast, but believe they are 1/4" with 3/8" head, about 3/4" or so long. Only application I know of is the 3X2 air cleaner base '67-'69. I believe there was more than one head marking used in those years. but WTFDIK, I am not anal retentiveDick Whittington- Top

I remember when PaPa Smurf was the 1968-69 Team Leader and as such received a special hat from Bill Hart.- Top

People are the ONLY reason I still attend events. I look forward to seeing old friends and making new friends at each meet. No longer go to all the meets as I did years ago, I think that maybe three next year will be my limit.
I think that I looked at three cars at Frisco and maybe that many in Kenner. I have made so many friends along the way in the last 28 or so years I have belonged to NCRS and cherise each and everyone of them. I miss the ones that have gone to the great garage in the sky and the ones that are no longer in the hobby. It has been a great ride.Dick Whittington- Top
