I dropped an original jack and put a big dent into the snout end that the jack handle goes into. Should be an easy part to replace since it is attached with a pin that can be driven out.
I'd like to contact the manufacturer of the reproduction jacks to see if I could buy a replacement part. I used to know who made them but lately, due to age no doubt, I seem to have forgotten more than I can rememeber. Seems to me it was a small company or individual down south somewhere.
Anyone know what person/company that may be and have contact info?
p.s. The jacks were originally dipped in paint. If you haven't tried spray painting one you'll find its the most difficult part to paint for the car.
