Has anybody seen a silk-screen like this??

Has anybody seen a silk-screen like the picture given? The A/C top came
of off a 69 Camaro 302 C/I engine. I do not know if it is original or not.
    Thanks in Advance--Larry

Are you referring to the "straight" print instead of the "curved" print? If so, then yes. Read this thread over on the Camaro Research Group for more info. Note: You may have to created an account and log in to see the pictures, but to boil it all down, the "straight print" silk screen started (approx) the 4th week of May, 1968 for the Camaro. Not sure about the Corvette, but I would imagine it would probably be the same.

Interesting discussion and data there, with more people sharing they are showing that the change occurred a lot earlier than other threads on this forum mention.

Key point to all this is for AS Spark Plug, a chrome AC212 lid was a chrome AC212 lid and would not have mattered if it was to be shipped to Norwood, Van Nuys, or St Louis.

Ever seen one? I've had one for over 44 years now. It's the original one installed on my 1969.

Shucks, I have only had mine for 43 years.

Yes, both my cars have the "straight" silk screen. (I'm the 05D Los Angeles Camaro on the CRG web site link I posted, and I also have a late build - October 24th, 1969 - Corvette L36).

I would assume that all cars (full size, Chevelle, Nova, Camaro, Corvette) that came with the open element air cleaner in 1968/1969 had the changeover date around the same time as what we found on the CRG site, but I'm sure there would be an overlap period where both were used while stock of the "curved" print was depleted. It also wouldn't surprise me to find the "curved" print scattered around helter skelter into the 1969 model year.

Larry, what's your cars build date?

By the way, I checked the 5th edition of the 68/69 TIM&JG, but there's no mention of a changeover date for the silk screen.
