Noland Adams has nothing to do with this web site.

          Re: Noland's Site

          Steve,

Noland gave all his collection and signed away all his intellectual property rights to a lady to develop a website. One of my friends was contacted and paid the lady a nice fee for downloading access to Noland's files once the website was up and running. My friend never received anything but his canceled check.

Russ Uzes initially tried to help Noland get his collection digitalized and worked for over 6 months on the project. Was told second hand that this lady never paid Noland a dime. Russ Uzes was very disgusted when this happened. Ye ole axiom "no good deed goes unpunished".

A quick check of email Russ and I exchanged while he was digitizing Noland's incredible collection shows that he worked on this for well over two and a half years. It was Russ's plan to turn all of the net proceeds over to Noland and he was at the point of taking orders when Tobey threw him under the bus.

The latest information, from about a month ago, still indicates that Noland hasn't yet received any compensation.

The whole situation is disgusting. There ought to be a special place in hell for those who prey on older people.

I was really surprised to see anything up on the site and no cost advertised. I was, unfortunately, from previous posts aware of what happened to Noland. Opinion; Noland got screwed and we will never see the work he has done over the decades. Jim, unfortunately those who do such things have no conscience. Conscience is replaced with opportunistic schemes praying on others who are vulnerable at the time. I had something included on my original post but deleted it realizing I don't have automatic censorship on my computer.

Steven, there is a link where you can sign up for $19.95 a year for access. They also state Noland is working on captions for the photos. It seems unbelievable that there is not another copy of this information out there, and that nothing can be done on Noland's behalf.

Oh I think something can be done! Get the word out to everyone interested in Corvettes what has happened and make sure no one pays her a dime! Why would he be working on captions? Sounds like a load of BS

Terry, I agree, but I'd like to see Noland recover his archive. I assumed he wasn't working on the captions, but wanted to let everyone know what was posted on the website.

From what I understand Noland's health is poor & he's not "working" on anything. This gal robbed him and also put the hurt on Gordon Killebrew by taking all his stuff with the same flim flam promises.
