    Tires for '60- Coker, Diamondback, or ??

    My 1960 needs new tires. I have 6" wheels and will be using the car as a driver with occasional trips of 150-200 miles. I would like wide whites but am not against considering other choices. I have looked at Coker and Diamondback. Which are the best? Are there other choices.

    Steve,

    A lower cost alternative to Coker or Diamondback is the Goodyear Viva which is sold at Walmart.
    Black wall only, available in 205 75R 15 which is equivalent to 670 15.
    Typically with our kind of cars, the tires will age crack before they wear out and these tires will age similar to the high priced brands.

      Diamondback. They also warranty the whitewall.

        Doesn't look like much of a warranty;

        "Warranty does not cover stains caused by stacking or other topical stains caused by neglect."
