    Carter question

I am researching carburetors for my 57 project. According to a reprinted book that I bought, the WCFB carbs used in the dual application differ in two ways. One, they have the counter weighted upper secondary butterflys, and two, the have the needle jet in the base to set the idle. I have found many, many so called "proper" carbs for sale for big bucks and only one set that I have found have these idle adjusting jets. I'm new at this game; what goes on here?

    Paul -

Do you have the latest 5th Edition of the '56-'57 Judging Guide? It has a highly-detailed discussion and charts with all the characteristics of the various 2x4 carburetors.
