Recent Sermersheim Fiberglass Quality

I have read many positive but dated reviews, and it is my understanding that the ownership has changed within the last few years. Has recent experience with them been as positive as before?

I did not find any recent posts on the topic, so I thought I'd check quick before ordering an assembled front end. Thanks.

We installed a set of '63 inner fenders last winter. They fit relatively well, and look great. No issues.

Hello Michael,

A fellow chapter member recently picked up a new '67 front end for me and another front clip for another member and I'm by no means an expert with fibreglass, I can tell you I'm very please with the Sermersheim's product. From what I know.... the gentleman who purchased/took over the business is a long time employee and was doing the fibreglass work all along so I don't believe anything has changed.

The Sermersheim company is still in Jim Sermersheim's family. If you think or hear that their product is not top rate you should visit some of the other manufacturers around the country. There is nobody any better!

Nice product fits well but, I do not care for the gelcoat on both sides of the panel. Does not look correct. Who cares what the back side of a panel looks like, I do, nothing worse than seeing the grain of the fiberglass gone, wheelhouse panels, back side of hoods door jambs, places that should not be sanded.

Any comments on their 67 Big Block radiator shroud ?
