for my dads 67 BB with factory AC restoration. the body is ready to drop on the frame. As soon as dad and I finish getting the drive line installed and running on the frame. then we plain lowing the completed body on the completed frame. the body is on a two post lift supported by the rocker channels. I know we first have to install the out side AC box. but my problem is that was already removed before we got the car. I have the box restored and assembled. so is there any tips or pointers to put this on the firewall. does the inside box need to be in? how about the inside firewall insulation? anything I am missing or overlooking.

The upper (glued) and lower (rubber retainer-attached) dash insulation and dash mats need to be in place, along with both the inner AND outer A/C boxes; the inner and outer boxes hold each other in place, and sandwich the lower dash mat between them. It's a LOT easier to deal with the A/C boxes without the frame and engine in the way, as the plant did it originally.- Top
