A Few Under Dash Questions ( 66)

I have a few under dash questions as I can't seem to find either item in my 66 AIM.

Question #1

Do I have the wiper arms in their proper location ?
If the pictures aren't sufficient , they are as follows . Passenger side set at 5:00 O'clock...Drivers side set at 1:00 O'clock . In the center it is passenger over driver as per UPC 1 D3.

Question #2

Is this Silver Bracket supposed to attach to the fire wall and the two corresponding screws on the duct assembly ? I can't imagine where else it would go to , however it is quite a gap to those screws ,
there is a lot of duct work left to attach , and again I can't find any mention of it in the aim.

wipers are correct.

The bracket supports the air condition heater box. It should bolt to the back upper corner of the heater box with a couple on hex head black phoshate screws. I would loosen the bracket from the firewall stud and attach it to the heater box first.

That's what I thought , but two thing kept me from being certain .

One , the gap or distance between them is large and that box doesn't flex much . Two, I don't know why I didn't take it off with the box when I removed it originally.
