    Brake pedal return spring

Is it possible to remove the brake pedal return spring without removing the bracket assembly from the firewall. Could the clutch pedal move over far enough to let the parts drop down?

    TIA, Tim

    Tim -

In a word, NO. Even with the clutch pedal pulled all the way outboard, the inboard end of the pedal shaft won't clear the pedal support when the outboard end is jammed against the bottom of the plenum panel.

      Thanks John,

That's what I wanted to know, I will probably just leave the spring there if the job calls for removing the bracket from the firewall.
