63 A/C Expansion Valve

The A/C expansion valve on my 63 is jammed shut. I took it apart but I'm not familiar with the internals.

Other than getting another one is there anyway to rebuild/fix the one I have?

Harry,

Long Island 35-10b is a STV Diaphragm Kit. Iffin that don't work and you go out to purchase one, get me a couple.

JR, I've rebuilt the STV and that looks fine, it's the expansion valve that is stuck closed.

I have two extra STV diaphragms if you need them, original frigidaire?

I believe that Classic Auto Air in Florida rebuilds originals. You may want to contact them and get a cost of repair.

Classic Auto Air said it was closed and sent it back, yes I am still scratching my head?
