    Duct and heaterbox

    I have a gap of 3/4 inch between the air duct for the defroster and the heatbox, I'm I missing something?

      I think that's the way the assembly fits, with that gap.

          Nope. The gap is there by design in order to eliminate any noise or vibration from the heater box.
