    1960 Soft Top Frame??

I looked at the archives for discussions on this subject.
Should the forward side window frame be Flat? Both of mine are very similar with a downward curve.
Should I be able to lay a straight edge across this frame, front to rear, with no gap?

Also, my softop frame has an empty hole below the hole where the rear bow mounting screw attaches to the rear bow. In a picture I found it shows a short link on each side. Mine are not there. Long gone. Were they used on the 60 Frames? The picture of this link in the frame did not copy through.
    Thanks

Dick, they must be straight or the corners won't seal over the windows properly. They're soft steel and bend from up/down top usage. We had a similar thread a while ago. I just found it in a search here.....

but that "search results" link goes away after several hours.
