Have frame but do not know what year car it is for

Back in 2006 I purchased a number matching '71 convertible project car. Although I had owned Corvettes before, I had never attempted any sort of restoration. The car had a badly rusted frame which needed replacement and there was a frame included with the purchase.
This frame turned out to be from model year 1974 or newer and I did not want to use it.
I purchased a correct year donor frame and completed the car. Now I would like to sell the frame that came with the car but do not know it's model year/s. Can I get some input to help ID this frame? Are there differences between frames in MY 74-77, 78-82? What should I be looking for?

Any help would be appreciated

Barry, as I recall the frame is stamped in two spots with the VIN derivative. If you find them they should help identify the frame.

I agree. Both locations are on the top of the driver's side frrame rail. First is about where your left hip would be if sitting in the car. Second is back by #4 body mount.

Harry, Michael,
The frame has a very heavy coat of paint covering rust pock marks. I am unable to view the vin on the frame.

Ron,your link leads me to the conclusion that this frame is 1975-1977 4 speed car.

Any idea what is fair value for this non-bumper car frame? It is straight and appears to be in good condition.
