Passing of Bob Stevens.

Hey all. I hate to be the one to post this, but my good friend and NCRS member, Bob Stevens passed away yesterday unexpectedly. He was a huge car fan and a former editor and author for Cars and Parts magazine. I'm sure many of you knew him or had seen him around. He will be missed. I just saw him last Monday and he was great. He was looking forward to nice weather and car shows. As usual. R.I.P. Bob. Here's a picture of him to put a face with the name.

It was a shock. He stopped in the shop all of the time. He was just in last week and we were discussing some tire issues he was having with his 91 ZR1. He lived just south of me and was headed home from the Detroit Lions football game. Old Bob for sure had his share of fun !!!

Thanks Tom. I always enjoyed Bob's work in Cars & Parts and the early version of Corvette Enthusiast .

I enjoyed his work as well, and had the opportunity to meet him at several shows over the years. He loved Corvettes and lots of other marques also; an interesting contributor to the hobby that will be missed.

never had the pleasure to meet him, but may he RIP and my condolences to his family and the many friends he left behind.
