Let me share something with you tonight! The cost of bringing Corvette Parts to you at the NCRS meets are as follows:

    NCRS Florida 2012 $2,900.42
    NCRS Florida 2013 2,866.25
    Corvette Carlisle 2012 3,507.06
    Knoxville Expo 2013 1,271.80

That is out of the pocket expenses before one part is sold!

I have attended every NCRS Florida meet since it started at Cypress Gardens and every Corvette Carlisle event since 1979.
So please don't whine about the cost of a Black Hat!!!
If you don't love Corvette's like I do please sell your Corvette and buy a Ford!

    JR

PS. I didn't include the cost of all the golf either! Can't wait for Florida in two weeks!

not fair to compare golf to judging points, the way I play 125/130 per 18 it is a lot less expensive than judging points per stroke (if I don't count lost balls) - maybe I should sell off some rare parts and take golf lessons ! BTW it costs just as much to participate in some of the Ford shows as all the others - the Cars & Coffee shows are about the only "freebies" left ----

Mark..I like it!! Your math this is.

Rex it took me ten years to get my 100 pt. Masters Judging Hat and I was at many many events that I did not get a opportunity to judge so I did the classes to learn more about my subject and particular years judged and did some OJ Duty as well...so four years is very difficult in my opinion. I've been involved with Corvettes since 1962 when I was just a young lad with my dad's new car!

        $90.00 Registration
        $195.00 Hotel
        $150.00 Food
        $89.00 Rental Car
        $18.00 Fuel
        $1,723.00 Beer
        $2,265.00 Total

if you only get one judging point, the math isn't difficult.

That is what I do...I compare Corvettes to golf. I have never played golf, but those clubs don't look to be cheap and Country Club Memberships..well...When people ask me isn't "Corvettes" expensive I say "yes, but I don't play golf".

And my Corvettes have always appreciated in value when I went to sell them!
