    1970 lt1

Couple of questions. Is there any orange overspray on the valve covers or intake? If so does anyone have correct pics. Also is the transistor ignition distributor have a natural color to the base or is it painted black? And is there any orange overspray on motor mounts. Thanks for any info. Jim.

Transistor ignition distributor housing was painted low gloss black for all area above the intake manifold.

No engine color over spary on engine mounts---they were installed at St. Louis long after the engine was painted at the engine plants.

Should be no overspray on rocker covers. The instructions were to put them on the engine after paint, however if your 1970 LT1 engine is an early build there could be some orange drips, NOT overspray, on the rocker covers.

There could be some orange on the intake, but that was supposed to be covered by silver paint, but again see the note for early built engines above.
