Can anyone please describe or post some pictures of how the fuel line is routed around the battery tray supports? Thanks very much.

Re: 1960 fuel line routing
Keith, The hard line passes through so it's below the tray but above the angled support arms. It's flat against the side of the horizontal frame the whole way. I thought I had a good pic of a '60 recently done, but it only shows the line after it passes through ahead of the tray area.

Re: 1960 fuel line routing
Thanks Rich. So, below the tray and above the support arms. Got it! My line came in a big "U" shape for packing and it obviously needs "massaging". Not sure that I can trust the bends of the old fuel line either. If any other members have a photo of that area, I'd appreciate seeing it.Keith MacRae

Keith, Here's one I just took of a '61 I have in the shop. Fresh film footage.

Re: 1960 fuel line routing
Thanks very much Richard. That's very helpful. I had to do a lot of handbending to fit it to the contour of the frame and have it climb up so to pass through the battery tray supports. I'll post a picture once I have the line on.Keith MacRae
