In addition to the Z06 buzz, the C7 R has been revealed as well for anyone interested in the racing side of this beast on wheels.

Could this also be the new ZR1 of the future? Love the lines on it, just add 700+HP and AWD and Voile the new ZR1!

For C7R specs go to chevrolet.com, select Z06, and then select Z06 specs.

C7R should make its racing debut at the Daytona 24-Hour next month under the new combined ALMS/Grand Am program.

ROB It will be fine on the German autobond & road courses. Can't help it if most of Europe has only Roman cart paths. LOL

Got that right! I cannot wait until I am standing near turn 5 at Lime rock this year to experience the C7R. it is always a visceral experience when the vette passes by. You wait as the high winding cars drive by, Ferrari 458 or Porsche with plenty of beauty that your eye can soak in but no sound other than gears. Then the 800 pound gorilla comes round and it feels like someone is pounding your chest and literally the ground is vibrating until the Corvette climbs the little hill and gone. The summer cannot come soon enough.

I'm going to Kissimmee for the first time and will be making a trek to Daytona Sat and Sun to see the race. I have my garage access wrist band and plan on heading right to the Corvette pits as soon as I get there. I hope they are giving out test rides..............
