    Rebuilt headlight motor

I'm new here and have already learned a great deal. With experience of others here I rebuilt the passenger side headlight motor which went from 15 sec down to 4 sec to open on my 67 coupe. This place is awesome.

I take it that you just rebuilt the gearbox and did not have to touch the motor. Correct?

Did you rotate the worm gear to expose new undeformed teeth to the worm machined into the armature shaft or buy a new one?

Duke, I did the entire motor. Cleaned off the armature, polished the bushings and best of all. Only one brush was contacting as the spring for the other brush was disengaged. And it was all fun to do. Thanks again, Ed
