I already received some feedback on my article in the current Restorer, which I would like to share with you...
Tory Syvrud added this detail on the wheel weights: "...you did not mention a very important issue that the 75-77 Technical Information Manual & Judging Guide has incorrect: wheel weights. As you know the book states your car should have Micro weights, but this is incorrect. Micro stopped supplying Corvettes around 1973. ..."
And John Kelsey answered my question about the BO5S-code: ".... Your question about the BO5S TIN plate number on the reverse side of the tire is for internal factory use. This further leads to the green tire flow to the curing press from the respective tire machine building the tire as well as the individual assembling the green tire. ..."
Thank you Tory and John - your added information is very much appreciated.
