62 Fuelie Serial Number vs. FI Unit Serial Number

I have been collecting this information for a number of years. The picture is interesting, but I am making no claims as to which are original and those not. No discreet data is enclosed, just a picture.
I would appreciate more data and I will not share the actual numbers.

I suppose it was bound to happen, I got two FI units with the same serial number.

I was hoping for more data, but no such luck so far. As you can see, it would be nice for some original data between 2500 and 4000. Up around 7500 to 9500 would also be nice too.

Re: 62 Fuelie Serial Number vs. FI Unit Serial Number

I understand that all Rochester units started with serial #1000, that is the first in the series would be 1001.
So unit (#1135), is the 135th unit built. It fits original to this car (#1482) as both are original low numbers. Rochester never told us or any employee their method for numbering units in 1957 thru 1965..

Although I love 57 Airboxes, I am not really a C1 guy and didn't know what you were looking for, that is... until I sorted through the photos. BINGO we have a winner!
To my customer this is the odd man out in the multi-car deal.
