'62 came out yesterday afternoon, the 1,000,000th was not planned for today but they had the opportunity and took it.
Actually to have been buried, the car does not look too bad from the photos, hood, front fascia, and windshield frame.Dick Whittington- Top

Re: Ncm
The poor 84 pace car appears to be a total loss. Hardly anything left to the body is there. In fact most of the C4's pulled out of the hole are a major mess.
Too bad I don't still have my May 83 car as I would have donated it as a parts car rather than give it to the ex wife. LOL.- Top

The 1,000,000th is out. According to the local Bowling Green news, retrieval was a matter of opportunity.

Re: Ncm
Did Mike Yager of Mid America own the 1,000,000th car at one point? I don't know when the 1,000,000th was built, but I seem to remember some years ago seeing a photo story of him buying a significant Corvette and he was at the plant as the car was coming off the line. I have probably confused it with another car, or maybe he donated it to the museum. In any case it's really sad what happened to these fine cars.

Pat,
Yep, that's it. Thanks for straightening me out. And my apology for misspelling Mikes name.
