    Tom, It is all in the technique of the Painter. The material used is not important. You can make lacquer look like urethane, or urethane look like lacquer. In the long run you will be much happier with a new age paint system. Take a good look at some of the cars on the judging field. Pick the finished look you are after and take some time to speak to the owner. Good luck, Joe
