Yes Mike I had both of them . All the BJ info matches mine . 17140 was on ebay in 2012 I dont have the price or if it sold .

Bill - I am new to NCRS and to this forum. I own a QQ code coupe 396, VIN 15331. Car looks very correct to my eye. Has that car ever hit your radar before?

Hi Jim Welcome to the NCRS and to the discussion board . Yes I do have your car on my list. I have it as a 65 St Louis built coupe ,Silver with a Black vinyl interior . side exhaust , knock off wheels , gold lines radio and tinted glass . I dont know how much of this information is correct , It is what I got from the Ebay add . It was for sale from Gary M. in Tenn. at the time I found it . I would send your information in to the NCRS and find the selling dealer and start tracing the cars history . That can be as fun as owning the car .The information I am missing on your car is the rear gear ratio , type of brakes, power steering or windows and back up lamps . Enjoy your car and have fun with it .

Hi Bill
My 65 coupe is pretty bare with just the big block, an AM/FM radio, tinted windows, side mount exhaust, knock-off wheels. and the goodwill tires. I have contacted two of the previous owners and have started the process with NCRS to obtain the selling dealer info. I have actually enjoyed researching the history of the car nearly as much as I have enjoyed driving it. Now that I have written that down its sounds kind of sick

Comes with some somewhat rare documentation and a pretty rare color combination. Any comments?

EDIT: You probably do because I see it's already on C2 Registry....Still I would like to hear a few comments on the invoice...I've never seen one before. For educational purposes only.

Yes Mike I added it to my list in 2006 , It had black walls then . The invoice looks good to me but I have no idea what Im looking at . In the photos it shows its a Stl . car but the Z bar is painted as an AOS The under car brackets are correct . Silver & red is nice .

Bill, do you have a Glen green black leather interior coupe, no radio in the registry. I owned the car from 1989 to 1994. I never was smart enough to write the VIN down and sold it before I restored it. It had an Ecklers 1 piece nose on it and the wrong motor. I sold it in 1994 to a guy in North Jersey. I would love to track that car down.

Rich you didnt give me much to work with . I found lots of green cars , the only one close was in NY and was for sale in the driveline in 2013 .dont know a name or about a radio . 914 720 8876

ive got a 1965 396 Coupe AOS car #19511, glen green with saddle interior. All numbers matching, M21, Sold new 7-3-1965 Baher Chevrolet, Hermosa Beach, CA. 45000 original miles.

Sad to hear about Bill's passing.
According to the late Nolan Adams book, “Corvette Restoration & Technical Guide, Vol. 2”. Page 277, there was 748, L78 coupes.
