Can a member have a car Flight Judged if the car has a dealer tag or must it be registered to the individual? My friend has a dealers license and uses those tags on all his Corvettes. I told him I thought a car had to be personally registered.

Re: Flight Judging and car ownership
Bob, I think you need to show just proof of ownership, ( State title, Bill of sale)?? and insurance certificate for plate.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top

Re: Flight Judging and car ownership
Bob, I should have read the Judging reference manual, It states it must be registered to the legal owner, and will require the judging meet chair person approval .other wise. I Know its more of a process to get judged. Its been done before.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top

Re: Flight Judging and car ownership
As judging chair, I have seen many cars registered for meets that are dealer or corporation owned and insured. The owner has to show documentation that he is owner of the business. I had one dealer bring his entire business insurance notebook to prove insurance on one Corvette.- Top

Re: Flight Judging and car ownership
ROB Proteam, Corvette Mike & other dealers have Corvettes they own judged by NCRS & why not. They belong to NCRS are entitled to the same privileges that the rest of us have. Most have restoration shops or have Corvettes restored for them like the rest of us.65 350 TI CONV 67 J56 435 CONV,67,390/AIR CONV,70 454/air CONV,
