1970 Corvette with LS-5 engine Ignition Replacement

Replaced the point in my 70 Corvette many, many years ago with the Mallory Unilite set up. Have not had any problems but am thinking about upgrading to either a Petronix set up or the Lectric Limited single wire conversion. Looking for any and all recommendations. Thanks,Chuck

I installed the Lectric Limited single wire setup last year. No problems so far.

Lectric Limited...simple, straight forward and it works.

Just guessing, does this system replace the points? Other than the obvious no points to adjust...what's the big perk(s) with this system?

            None. It's pretty much pointless.

Maybe he meant it literally and at the same time a point of irony....hee...hee.

A little of both. The OP has already got a pointless system. Not much to be gained by substituting another.
