After a period of about two months, I'm finally back to doing my usual Sunday morning rides with my Vette. I missed out on a lot of beautiful weather rides due to some medical problems (after the winter meet) and a recent month long trip back to Thailand (my wife's home).
I did my usual pre-start inspections, then primed it and it fired right off just like always. The clutch disc stuck a little, but that's normal after even a several week shutdown. After a brief warm up, it was off to the country roads. Much to my surprise, one road in particular that I love to drive on that winds it's way around a rather large natural lake with a lot of curves and clear straight aways that allow some good WOT bursts, had been completely repaved while I was gone. Did I enjoy that! My 10 year old Goodyears hung on well to that new pavement on the curves and my tach needle got to stretch itself a few times in the yellow and orange on the straights.
Life is great and even greater with your Vette providing the best heart therapy possible.
