I have a 67 corvette I finished with new wiring harness. All lights worked great for a month but now the rear tail lights and brake lights do not work nor does the instrument cluster lights. The turn signals do work. The fuses are fine. Headlights and interior lights work fine. Any suggestions on the problem?

Re: C2 electrical problem
The dash lights (gray wires) are on the same circuit as the taillights by design, such that if the taillights fail, so do the dash lights, to clue you in to the taillight failure; when you find the ground fault for the taillights, the dash lights should re-appear.- Top

Re: C2 electrical problem
Charles,
Did you replace the Turn signal switch? I had the exact problem with all the lights working except the brake and tail lights. I replaced the Turn signal switch and now everything works.
Only problem is that I believe the 67 switches are unavailable from vendors for a couple months.- Top

I had the same problem and had a slightly corroded fuse clip for the brake light fuse under the dash. Took the fuse out cleaned the clip..back in business- Top
