    1967 Bolt on Wheels

I am looking to purchase a set of reproduction bolt on wheels for my 1967 435 roadster. My understanding is there are two manufacturers of these wheels. Please comment on which wheels you may have experience with and what you like and dislike about them. Thanks in advance for comments! Chris

I just got a set of the Corvette America wheels. I am very happy with them. They are the CA Gen IV wheels. CA claims they built new molds based on originals. I have not compared them to an original. I bought them from Virginia Vettes. Got a little better price and they were complete with caps and new lug nuts.

Don, have you measured the fin width with a micrometer or scale? I've no idea what the actual Kelsey fin width was, but many repos have a reputation for much wider fins.

Mine measure 0.213. My understanding is that both Corvette America current wheels and America's Finest both claim to have correct width now. But I don't have access to an original to measure.

There is at least one set of repos in the barn where my just-purchased 67 sits. I will measure those fins and see where they fall. I'm planning on two sets of wheels - one for judging, one for driving - and I'll definitely use rallys for the judging set. Still debating on drivers!
