    Power Top Rebuilding

Can anyone give me advice on who to contact for complete power top rebuilding services. I heard of Hrdro-E and wanted to see who else performs these services OR is it better to just buy new systems from Corvette Central etc.

    Thanks,
    Eric

    Eric -

The link below will take you to an article I wrote several years ago on the subject that you may find helpful.

Eric, I don't think any vendors sell new systems. What year do you have and do you have a unit on it (many were discarded)? If you decide to do it yourself, there are some here who can give advice. Good luck, Don H.

I do have a complete system from what I can, it is on a 58 model. Everything just looks very old and worn out but complete. Some of the switch look back. The safety switch for the truck lids and under the dash are working fine. Open to suggestions. The article from Don was great and very helpful.

Eric, send me a private message with your phone number and we can talk. I installed a complete system on my 1960.

There's a guy on Ebay who sells power top parts and also says that he rebuilds all of the system's parts. I believe he sells under the name "vettelink"
