Great idea! I happen to have some on the shelf. By the way, if I am reading the assembly instruction manual correctly, they should be tightened to between 45 and 55 pound foot of torque, right?- Top

Of course I'm referring to C3s. But, since Ron doesn't mention the year of the car in his original post or in the thread tag, we get to guess and answer at will.

Those bushings are normally a pretty heavy press on the outer ring. I would not expect the bushing to be coming out as in the photo unless the press was not adequate even with the bolt missing. If bushing is urethane, this is a poor choice as stated previously.- Top
