    compressor hubs? what yearsused these?

Hopefully there is a pic here of 2 hubs, 1 with 6 holes and 1 with 3 spokes. What years were they used? These were used on the air conditioning that used A-6 compressors starting 1963.DOM

Dom -- all I know is the early '65 (and '64s) used the one with 6 holes. I suspect that by 1966 MY they used the wide spokes (or 3 square cut-outs).

      Wayne,
Thanks, I was confused as some later compessors that came in had the 6 hole also. But they could have been put on years ago.

        DOM --

All I can speak to is the small sample (of 3) plus Noland's photo on page 123, in the '63 section. I'll bet that most A6's that were rebuilt got a clutch change, back in the day. Is this feature even mention in the Guides and Tech Manuals ?

The two I have with the 6-hole clutch hubs are on compressors with back head casting dates of I-15-4 and J-18-3. Plus, I saw another at a swap meet that was supposedly off a '63 passenger car.

Too bad others haven't reported on what they have.

The pic is from a really nice '65 (L76 big pulley), 15,000 VIN range, IIRC. Taken at Seaside OR regional in 2006. Has the later design clutch hub.
