    66 brake system flush

I'm considering switching to a dual reservoir master cylinder on my 66. I have had silicone fluid in the system for many years since converting to SS sleeve calipers. With the master cylinder change over I would like to replace all brake hoses. Before I install the new hoses & dual master and prior to disassembly of the existing system, I'm considering flushing the entire system; master, hoses, calipers, hard lines etc. I would appreciate any thoughts on what to flush with and best way to accomplish this. Should I flush with silicone fluid, other fluid, is this even necessary? Also, is there anything I should be aware of parts wise or installation wise when selecting & installing a dual master conversion kit? (Car never had power brakes & I will not be converting to power brakes) Thanks much for all suggestions.

Flush the new hoses with denatured alcohol. The new master cylinder must be assembled with silicone fluid. If not, disassemble, clean with denatured alcohol, and reassemble with silicone fluid.

Once all the new parts are installed, flush the entire system with silicone fluid. Running a quart through the system should ensure that all the old fluid is purged.
